Move, Create, and Connect for Fun Camps in Port Coquitlam!

Children and Youth will enjoy great outdoor adventures!  All camps include a unique mix of age appropriate movement & activities, arts & exploration, connection to nature, play and opportunities to socialize safely! All camp programs are designed to challenge your child while having fun and exploring outdoor environments.

For health and safety reasons, all camps will be outdoors.  Participants will need to be prepared for all weather with appropriate clothing, sunscreen, hats and/or raingear as camps will be running rain or shine.

Summer camps will run weekly from July 5 to Sept 2. All camps and programs will have appropriate COVID-19 safety measures in place.

Clubhouse Kids is a local community program of the Thriving Kids Care Society.  We provide a highly relational program where children can develop their five dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual) while instilling positive Christian character, morals and values (such as the need to love everyone, be compassionate, respect all, give generously and to always be thankful). 

We offer day camps throughout all school breaks (winter, spring and summer).  A typical day consist of on-site activities in the morning, off-site activities in the afternoon and at least one all-day field trip each week.  Our activities include cooking, crafts, games, stories, parks, and more!  We provide a variety of activities to allow children to discover and master their interests while building positive relationships with each other.

Crocodile Mandarin School

Crocodile Summer Day Camps 2021

The Crocodile Mandarin Summer Day Camp is a week-long day camp program. The camp runs Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm. (Extended hours can also sometimes be offered.) It features an interdisciplinary approach to Mandarin learning with our original Crocodile Mandarin lessons sandwiched between activities like yoga, dance/movement, art, cooking, and natural science projects. These subjects are all presented in an immersion format. That means instructors use only Mandarin during the day.

The camp is offered for two different age groups 4-6 and 7-12. Exceptions can be made for siblings (or good  friends) who wish to participate together.

At LEGO Robotics Camp kids create, build, program and operate robotic animals, machines and vehicles using LEGO Education Mindstorms EV3/NXT and WeDo sets and computer programming software. On the way they develop skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), teamwork, critical thinking, creativity and problem solving.

LEGO Robotics Summer Camps in Vancouver

We offer full and half day camps this Summer 2017 hosted at University Chapel, UBC for students entering Grades 1-7. Full day camps run 9-3pm with an option for childminding until 4:30pm. Half-day morning camps run 9:00am-12:00pm.

Morning program (9:00-12:00) is a full robotics program, lunch break from 12:00-1:00pm with outside activities (students bring their own lunch), and afternoon program includes options for advanced robotics and LEGO Education StoryStarter, WeDo, First Lego League missions and competitive robotics games. 

Please note that students with previous experience in LEGO Robotics will be put into an advanced program which builds on their previous skills and presents more challenging activities.

Dance Summer Camps for kids in Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster BCThis year we are pleased to be offering the following Summer Dance Camps:
Summer Camp #1
- July  (9 day camp) - Theme  and date TBA
Summer Camp #2 - August   (9 day camp) - Theme  and date TBA

Our two week Spring Break and Summer Camps offer an excellent alternative to other regular camp environments and provide a safe and healthy environment for your dancer. Our camps (Technical camps excepted) normally run for two weeks, M-F, 9-4pm with before and after care available for a small additional fee. Camps include 15+ hours of dance per week along with a showcase for family and friends at the end of camp. Dance genres include elements of jazz, ballet and acrobatics, sometimes tap and/or hip hop are fused into the sessions. Cost for a two week camp is $475, cost for a 9 day camp is $425.

Our camp facilitators are experienced educators, primarily from Vancouver College, offering a wide variety of academic, recreation, and athletic co-ed camps (unless otherwise listed), all held on Vancouver College’s new, fully redeveloped campus. 

If you are currently on our waitlist, you will be hearing from us in the coming weeks regarding the possibility of enrolling in any alternative camps, including second sessions, for your child.

Summer time is fun time and it also a good time for students to catch up on some unfamiliar topics or learn ahead to prepare for new challenges.

We welcome students to come to Ho Math Chess to summer program to discover how much they can have fun with math - either to refresh learned but forgotten or to learn something new.

Of course, we also offer different levels of summer chess courses for juniors. Not knowing anything about chess? No problem, we will teach you from the beginning. Want to improve yous chess skills? Don't get bored, get on board. Come and join our chess for junior summer programs at Ho Math Chess. We specialize in math, chess, and puzzles integrated teaching and is the world leader and pioneer in this highly specialized field. This year, Langara is narrowing our Summer Camps focus to what we can do best in these times of global challenges: make art, and tell stories.   

We welcome teens aged 13-18 to join us for a week-long camp in Photography. You'll learn to get the most from your tools, you'll collaborate with your classmates; and you'll learn from expert mentors who have made creating and sharing art their life's work.

This is a Beginner to Intermediate archery program, designed for kids who want to try archery and gain more than just basic knowledge of archery, while having fun in a safe supervised environment. Students will be taught with a recurve bow, and have an opportunity to try out a compound bow and Olympic recurve bow.

At SJS Summer to Discover, we are offering four weeks of fun and interactive programming for participants aged 3 - 14. Tri-City Youth Basketball Association (TCYBA)

Tri-City Youth Basketball Summer Camps

The Tri-City Youth Basketball Association will be hosting its Summer Basketball Camps, weekly in July and August.

Coach to Player Ratio – 1:8. These camps are 4 to 5 days in duration and are designed for players looking to develop and improve their athleticism and basketball skills. These camps focus on developing the basic ABC’s of sport (Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed) and fundamental basketball skill development, including shooting, ball handling, passing, pivoting, defense, attack & counter one on one moves, and team play.

We welcome boys and girls from ages 10-17 years old of all skill levels to attend our Summer camp sessions.

Head Coaches for TCYBA’s academy programs include Anthony Luyken and Joe Enevoldson. Anthony and Joe have both served as Canada Basketball / BBC Centre for Performance and Basketball BC Provincial Team coaches in the past. Coach Luyken is a former Assistant Coach at the University of the Fraser Valley and Coach Enevoldson is the former Head Coach at Douglas College and has recently been named the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at UFV.

Additional assistant coaches may take part in the academy sessions to ensure an appropriate coach to player ratio is maintained. The most important factor in participating in the Academy program is to simply be dedicated to improvement and committed to attend the scheduled sessions.

Zajac Ranch for Children

Autism Spectrum Disorder Camps

Each Autism Spectrum Disorder Camp offers a place for 50 children who have diagnoses on the autism spectrum to attend this specialized summer camp. Campers will take part in all of our summer camp activities: horseback riding, ropes courses, climbing wall, canoeing, swimming… all while being among, and communicating with, their peers.

Registration is currently not available. Please check our Family Camps for alternative camping opportunities this year.
