You will need to compare prices, hours, assess the quality of the programs, and the locations of different child care centres relative to where you live and/or work.

Most child care centres provide an organized group setting away from home and look after children in the range of 3 to 5 years of age who are toilet-trained. Still there are some infant and/or toddler nurseries for children younger than 3.

The caregiver in many cases is often a mother or a group of women who look after their own small children and are, therefore, able to look after other children. The home caregiver typically looks after 1 to 6 children in her home.
