Baseball and softball for children, youth and adults - whether on the professional and/or amateur level is very popular in Canada.
As a parent, one of the most important responsibilities that you have assumed is instilling a set of values into your child’s life. The process of teaching our children values can be, at times, a very challenging proposition.
However, if you have a child who is involved in baseball and/or softball it may be much easier than you think! Baseball is fundamentally a team sport. The values that children learn from playing baseball and/or softball include teamwork, perseverance, social mobility and even democracy. Whether it is the World Series or the product of a child's imagination, baseball is sure to be on peoples' minds.
